The Agri Services business of the AFGRI Group comprises Retail and Equipment and Grain Management. These divisions focus on serving the primary agricultural production sector within AFGRI’s geographical area. This area, including the Mpumalanga, Gauteng, North West and Free State provinces are South Africa’s key grain growing areas, especially for maize and wheat but also include soya and sunflower.

Equipment

AFGRI Equipment is a regional supplier of mechanised equipment tailored to the needs of the commercial farmer. It is the largest single John Deere franchise in Africa. The offer further lends support to the farmer with mobile workshops to undertake servicing and maintenance requirements on site to ensure effortless management of an agricultural fleet. Countrywide workshops are manned by highly qualified personnel, accredited by the franchise to undertake the maintenance and service repairs required. AFGRI Equipment is a regional supplier of new and pre-owned mechanised equipment tailored to the needs of the commercial farmer.

AFGRI Retail processes and sources a full range of agricultural inputs, home and garden, outdoor and DIY products, selected building materials and services to farmers, small-holding owners and the general public through our retail outlets. The retail outlets enjoy a competitive edge through a cost-effective procurement, distribution and stock management supply chain service.
